M E G Products has introduced the edge trimming router base for use with a router. Use the base with your router to flush trim applied hardwood edges on veneered or laminated surfaces. It is the perfect router accessory for creating wood edged shelving and counter tops. It is easy to use, remove router sub base and secure router to aluminum tool body using pan head screws provided, place unit on flat surface and adjust bit to just touch .004 inch shim provided. Maintaining downward force at the base handle - start flush trimming at the juncture of the edging and laminate/plywood moving along the length of the work. Trim, apply adjoining edge, route flush, sand and profile.
